Viksit Bihar: A Blueprint for a Self-Reliant and Prosperous State
What will Bihar look like in 2047? We envision a state that is not defined by its poverty, but by its prosperity, culture, and innovation. This is our dream for a 'Viksit Bihar'.

As India marches towards 2047—the centenary of its independence—we must ask: Where will Bihar be? Will it still be a laggard, or will it reclaim its position as a leader? At Divya Bihar Mission, we refuse to accept the status quo. We dare to dream of a 'Viksit Bihar'—a Developed Bihar.
The Pillars of Prosperity
Our blueprint for this vision rests on four pillars:
1. Human Capital Revolution
The greatest asset of Bihar is its people. We envision a state where every child, regardless of their pin code, has access to world-class education and healthcare. A state that exports not just labor, but doctors, engineers, artists, and entrepreneurs.
2. Agro-Industrial Powerhouse
Bihar has the most fertile soil in the world. We envision a shift from subsistence farming to high-value agro-processing. We want to see factories in Bihar processing our litchis, mangoes, makhana, and maize. We want the 'Made in Bihar' tag to be a mark of quality globally.
3. Cultural Renaissance
We envision Bihar as a global hub for spiritual and cultural tourism. From the Buddhist circuit to the Sufi shrines, from the Ramayana trail to the Jain Tirthankaras, Bihar has it all. We need to build the infrastructure and the narrative to welcome the world.
4. Digital & Physical Connectivity
We see a Bihar where every village is connected by high-speed internet and all-weather roads. Where a startup can operate as seamlessly from Supaul as it does from Silicon Valley.
A Collective Dream
This vision cannot be achieved by the government alone. It requires the 'Jan Bhagidari' (people's participation) of every Bihari. It requires the diaspora to give back. It requires the youth to take ownership.
The 'Divya Bihar Mission' is just a small spark. We want to turn this spark into a fire—a fire of development, dignity, and dharma. Let us build a Bihar that our ancestors would be proud of and our children will be thankful for. Jai Bihar! Jai Hind!
